Important Dates
2026–2027 Academic Year Enrollment
VVA enrollment opens on March 2, 2026. Regular enrollment for fall terms is open for synchronous and asynchronous options through June 5, 2026.
Regular enrollment for spring terms is open for synchronous and asynchronous options through December 4, 2026.
Space-Available Enrollment
After the regular fall enrollment period, enrollment for the 2026–2027 fall terms with synchronous and asynchronous options remains open on a space-available basis through August 7, 2026.
After the regular spring enrollment period, enrollment for Spring 2027 remains open on a space-available basis through January 8, 2027.

Late/Transfer Enrollment
Late/Transfer Requests
During the academic year, three types of late/transfer enrollment requests may be made on a space-available basis:
- Relocating military families,
- Documented medical conditions, and
- New student at the local school.
A late/transfer enrollment to a Virtual Virginia course may be made only if the student was already enrolled in the equivalent course at the time of the request.
