Virginia public school divisions can import digital resources and online learning modules for K–12 subjects to their Statewide LMS instances at no cost. Regularly updated by Virginia public educators, content includes instructor guides, fully developed lessons with interactive practice and assessments, and question banks.

VVA Outreach resources are designed as a foundation for teachers to use in their classrooms and modify according to their local school needs. All VVA Outreach course resources are aligned with appropriate state and/or national standards and are designed according to National Standards for Quality Online Courses and Quality Matters course design standards. All K–5 content is aligned with the Virginia Standards of Learning (SOLs) and Virginia’s Comprehensive Instructional Program (CIP). For grades 6–12, content for core academic and world language courses are aligned to the Virginia SOLs, and AP course content is developed according to the College Board’s curricular guidelines.

Participating public school educators are enrolled in the statewide Virtual Virginia Professional Learning Network (PLN) and may participate in workshops and statewide webinars.
