AP Seminar is a foundational, interdisciplinary course that engages students in exploring complex academic and real-world issues through inquiry and research. Students analyze multiple perspectives, evaluate sources and evidence, and synthesize information to develop and communicate well-reasoned, evidence-based arguments. Through individual and collaborative projects, students strengthen critical thinking, research, writing, and presentation skills. AP Seminar prepares students for AP Research and for college-level academic work across various disciplines.
The successful completion of AP Seminar with a score of 3 on the exam fulfills one of the requirements of the AP Seminar and Research Certificate and the AP Capstone Diploma.
