VVA Pathways encompasses a wide variety of personalized online educational opportunities for grades K–12. VVA Pathways includes full-time and part-time options, with a focus on flexibility through a variety of learning paths.

K–5 Spanish Enrichment

Virtual Virginia’s Goal-Oriented Active Learning Series (GOALS) now features K–5 Spanish enrichment instruction for younger learners in a fun, engaging environment.

Dual Enrollment

VVA and Tidewater Community College have partnered to offer the Commonwealth Dual Enrollment Pathways Program in 2022–2023, allowing students to earn a college certificate or college credit online while in high school.

Trailblazers

The Trailblazers Program is available to full-time students in grades 3–5 and encourages exploration, self-reliance, and independence in a supportive environment. VVA Trailblazers are motivated learners who receive primarily asynchronous instruction, with required weekly check-ins and small-group instruction.

Supplemental SOL Instruction

The Goal-Oriented Active Learning Series (GOALS) provides high school students with supplemental online instruction in foundational skills and test preparation aligned to the Virginia Standards of Learning (SOLs).

Summer Credit Recovery

Credit recovery courses for grades 6–12 are available for online instruction by VVA teachers during Summer Session to help schools and students address unfinished learning and meet graduation requirements.
