How is the full-time program different from the VVA part-time program?

Virtual Virginia’s full-time program offers all required core academic courses and electives necessary to earn a standard or Advanced Studies diploma.

Full-time status is designated by the local school counselor at the time of enrollment for students taking multiple Virtual Virginia courses. The local school determines the number of courses in which students may enroll according to their plan of study.

While some full-time students take their courses outside of the traditional school setting, this is at the discretion of the local enrolling school. Full-time students remain the academic responsibility of the local school and are subject to all local school policies regarding virtual learning.
