Many schools have different deadlines by which they need end-of-year course grades.
Each academic year, a school counselor or school/division coordinator should share the date(s) by which their school or division requires final grades for graduating students (seniors) and non-graduating students (underclassmen). Please keep in mind that all student work must be submitted prior to VVA’s course end dates, including any requests for assignment extensions due to extenuating circumstances during the final weeks of the course.

To update a division’s end-of-year grade reporting deadlines for all schools within that division, please send an email request to [email protected] with the names of the schools and the grade reporting deadlines for seniors and underclassmen.
Please note that this information must be updated each academic year. Virtual Virginia will send occasional reminders via email to school counselors and school/division coordinators.
The deadline information you provide will be shared with all VVA instructors so they can submit your students’ final grades by your school/division’s deadlines and adjust students’ assignment due dates and final assessment schedules as needed.
If you have questions about sharing end-of-year grade reporting deadlines, please email [email protected].
