Blue Skies Blended Learning Workshop Series
Free Professional Learning Workshops

Virtual Virginia invites educators throughout the state this spring to the Blue Skies Blended Learning Workshop Series, where they can learn best practices in blended learning by utilizing the VVA Statewide Learning Management System (LMS) and other educational technology for in-person learning.
Presented in partnership with Instructure, the Blue Skies Blended Learning series features free online workshops designed specifically for K–12 instructors, leaders, and support personnel at Virginia public schools and divisions. Participants will learn how to incorporate blended learning methods into their professional practice and leverage the VVA Statewide LMS (Canvas LMS) in face-to-face instruction.
Led by blended learning expert and Instructure Principal Learning Consultant Evette Davis, each session will focus on practical applications and provide tips, tools, and techniques that educators can begin using immediately.

Davis, who holds an EdD in teaching and learning with an emphasis on instructional technology, worked for 12 years as a K–5 teacher and instructional technology specialist before starting her current role at Instructure.
Registration is required for each workshop. A Virginia public school/division email address is required to register.
For each session, each attendee will be awarded a certificate worth one hour of professional learning for attending and submitting a brief reflection form.
