Blueprints for Better Blending

Free Professional Learning Course

Did you miss the 2024 Blended Learning Conference, “Blueprints for Better Blending,” from Virtual Virginia and VSTE? Or did you want to revisit the conference to watch sessions you missed?

Educators can now “return” to the conference through VVA’s free professional learning course “Blueprints for Better Blending,” which features recordings of the wide range of conference sessions highlighting some of the amazing things Virginia educators and leaders are doing to improve instruction and create blended learning experiences that are meaningful and engaging for learners in the Commonwealth.

Participants who successfully complete the course will earn a certificate worth five hours of professional learning. However, if you attended the conference live on February 17, 2024, and were already awarded a certificate for the conference, you may only use one of the certificates to apply toward recertification in Virginia.

Participants can view sessions under the following categories:

  • Blended Learning: General Strategies/All Models
  • Canvas for Littles (Canvas for Younger Learners)
  • Collaborative Learning/Student Collaboration
  • Critical Thinking Skills
  • Ed Tech Tool Showcase
  • Family/Community Engagement
  • Gamification
  • Instructional Coaching/Mentoring
  • Personalized Learning Pathways/Differentiated Instruction
  • Professional Learning
  • Project-Based Learning
  • Student Engagement Strategies
  • Student Voice and Choice
  • Universal Design for Learning (UDL)
